Thomas Prichard was tried at Old Bailey, London on 10 December 1783 for stealing 50 pounds weight in lead from roof with a value of 8 shillings.
He was sentenced to transportation for 7 years and left England on the Friendship aged about 22 at that time (May 1787). His occupation was listed as labourer.
Thomas was tried many times before at the Old Bailey and the magistrate commented on this fact.
Guilty of return from transport following the Mercury mutiny. Report from Dunkirk hulk was “in general tolerably well behaved but troublesome at times”.
