Newspaper Reports 1843 Tuesday 15th April 1843 James Prideaux charged with having committed an unnatural crime in field near Bristol was found guilty.The Jury recommended him to mercy on account of his age (65). Sentenced to death was recorded,but with an intimation that it will be commuted to transportation.
