There is no record of Sarah in 1828 (presume deceased?) but there is a record for John. Sainty & Johnson; 1828 Census of New South Wales: [Ref H1286] Heffron, John, 64, CF, Barwell, 1798. Lodger with Thos Madden at Kent St, Sydney.

In the colony, Sarah married John Heffernan (Came Free, Barwell, 1798). They married at Sydney, Jun 4th 1801. They already had at least 1 child, Mary who had been born 1804 (named Mary Effering) and then in 18109 they had another child, (Thomas Hefferin).

It would appear that Sarah was a married woman at trial, her husband's name was Joseph Priestly. Therefore her maiden name is unknown. Sarah was Transported on the "Nile". Departing June 1801 arriving, Sydney Cove, December 14th 1801.
