On Thursday morning the following convicts left Newgate for the hulks in Portsmouth harbour, viz.-- James Smith. Henry Goodall. Charles Tandy, Thos James, William Moore, Thomas Collings, George Carter, William Hawkins, Henry Givens, Joseph Aides. T. Player, Wm. Henley, Edward Tryait, William .oiel. John Davis, Thos. Prosser, Jeremiah O’Brien and Ham Morgan. Bristol Times, 27 Aug 1814.

At the general quarter-sessions for this city, held on Monday last, the following prisoners were tried and received their sentence: ... Thomas Prosser, for stealing a silver can, the property of John Roberts; ... to be transported for seven years ; Bristol Times, 23 April 1814.Tasmanian Record: https://stors.tas.gov.au/CON13-1-1$init=CON13-1-1p46 Thomas Prosser, arrived in New South Wales per Baring. He arrived in VDL on the Emu. His name is on a List of 31 Mechanics and Labourers to be embarked on H,M C. Brig Emu for the Service of the Government at Port Dalrymple in Van Diemen’s Land, 30 October 1815. No 7. Thomas Prosser, plaisterer, Baring, convicted at Bristol, April. 1814, sentence, seven years.
