Hereford Adjourned Sessions. William Farmer, Thomas Pullen, and Benjamin Pullen, pleaded guilty to charge of housebreaking at Canon Froome.—Benj. Pullen, nine months' imprisonment: William Farmer and Thomas Pullen, six months' imprisonment. Hereford journal, 15 March 1843. ---------------------------------------------------- Thomas Pullen, aged 16, stealing a quantity of potatoes on the 22nd of April last, at Ashperton, the property of Samuel Drew. The prisoner received an unfavourable character, and was sentenced to seven years' transportation. Hereford Journal, 2 July 1845. -------------------------------------------------- The following convicts were removed to Millbank, pursuant their sentences of transportation at our recent County Sessions :-Thomas Pullen, for 7 years, George Leddington, James Challenger, for 10 years each; George Layton, for 15 years. Hereford Journal, 16 July 1845.

Family were very poor. On his first conviction in 1843 with his brother Benjamin of stealing bread, cheese and bacon. Thomas was sentenced to 6 months and Benjamin 9 months. He was sentenced to transportation after the second conviction for stealing potatoes
