The Convict Indentures state that Patrick Quin was 18 years old. He could neither read nor write; religion Roman Catholic; status single and a native of County Kildare. He was a grocer’s boy. Patrick was convicted of pledging parasol in Dublin City on 12 October 1835 and sentenced to 7 years. He had one prior conviction and served 6 months. Physical attributes: Height 5 feet 2 inches; complexion ruddy and pock pitted; hair dark brown and eyes grey. Transport number 113. Prisoner number 36-1916.
Received Certificate of Freedom in 1843 (number 43/1351).
NSW 1837 Convict Muster states that Patrick Quin was assigned to Government Service in Sydney.
