On list of all persons victualled from H.M. Magazines (Reel 6016; 4/5781 p.92) 1823 Mar 13 On list of prisoners assigned (Fiche 3291; 4/4570D p.98) 1823 Mar 13 Servant of A Dickson. Permitted to proceed to Newcastle per "Elizabeth" (Reel 6010; 4/3507 p.446) 1823 Apr 29 Convict servant of Alexander Dickson. Irish Convict Database. Michael Quinlan, age 30 Guildford (3) 1818, Tried at Cork City 1817, 7 years. Native of Cork City. Trade- seaman. Michael Quinlan was sent to Moreton Bay follwing a Cononial sentence, and died. He is listed on the Register of Convicts as having arrived at Moreton Bay, 2 June 1826, but his record stated he died 11 Feb 1826: – Michael Quinlan, Guildford 3 - Tried at Cork City, Aug 1817, 7 years. Seaman. Colonial sentence: Qr. Sessions, Sydney, 7 Feb 1826, Felony, 3 years transportation. Died 11 Feb 1826. Description: age 39, native of Cork City, 5 ft 10 ½; fresh complexion, dark hair, grey eyes. religion- E. Quarter Sessions. (Tuesday). Michael Quinlan, for stealing a bag, containing a half and a quarter' dollar, from the person of James Hisson on the 19th of January last. Guilty. To a penal settlement for three years. The Australian (Sydney)Thurs 9 Feb 1826.
