Trial 15 Mar 1845 at Castlebar, Co. Mayo IRE for stealing 11 watches. Family: brothers Patrick at Co. Meath Desc: aged 21 from Dublin IRE, single, 5'2", can read but not write, RC Trades: carpenter, watch cleaner, jeweller TOL 30 Jul 1849, revoked 27 Sep 1850, restored 11 Nov 1850 CP recommended 19 Aug 1850 Certificate of Freedom issued 26 Apr 1852 (sentence expired) Permission to marry 2 Jan 1852 & again 20 Jan 1852 - Frances Kidner. They married 18 Feb 1852 in Sorell. They had 6 children together born between 1853-1868. Died 22 Jun 1889 in Hobart of hepatic disease at the General Hospital
