Owen Quinn, and his brother Peter, were convicted of killing a sheep. 7yr sentence. Transported to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) on the 'Pestonjee Bomanjee' arriving 02/01/1849. Single man; labourer; 5'1; Roman Catholic. b. Co. Roscommon, Ireland; aged 28yrs. Father: Patrick Brother: Peter Sisters: Mary; Biddy & Ann. 27/08/1849: Hospital 03/09/1849: Prison Barracks 03/12/1849: Ticket of Leave Died at Brighton, Tasmania on 18/03/1850.
