1831, November: On arrival in VDL, he was listed as Thomas Rammage or Ramage, 20, a labourer and married (see https://stors.tas.gov.au/CON18-1-12$init=CON18-1-12p177). His wife Isabella Colling was at his native place of Edinburgh. He said he had been transported for stealing a cask. He had a previous conviction (10 days' jail) for vagrancy (see https://stors.tas.gov.au/CON31-1-37$init=CON31-1-37p87).


1831, 15 April: Thomas Ramage, 18, was received aboard the Retribution hulk at Woolwich. He was sent from there for transportation on 14 July 1831 (see UK, Prison Hulk Registers and Letter Books, 1802-1849).
