WINCHESTER, Saturday, Feb. 27. At our Assizes, which will begin on Tuesday next, before Mr. Baron Hotham and Mr. Baron Perryn, the following prisoners are to take their trials, viz. … Stephen Raymond, … for housebreaking. Hampshire Chronicle 1 Mar 1790. At our assizes which began on Tuesday last… the following prisoners received sentence viz. … and Stephen Raymond, removed to Salisbury. Hampshire Chronicle 8 Mar 1790. At the assizes for this county, three prisoners received sentence of death, viz. William Jones, alias William Johnson, for stealing a gelding; Stephen Raymond, for house-breaking; and John Self, for stealing two sheep. They are all reprieved. Bath Chronicle, 18 March 1790.
