Family connections for William (Rayner) are: RAYNER William (Rayner) arrived in NSW as a convict on 9 7 1791 after a voyage of 6months on Fleet ship WILLIAM AND ANN. He was Free by Servitude by 1798. He is also recorded as arriving on MATILDA in the same Fleet. He was granted 30acres at Hawkesbury River in 1794. He had a relationship with Priscilla (Loveridge her third relationship). He enlisted in NSW Corps on 23 12 1801 as private at Sydney & was detached to (McArthur)s company. In 1805 He was detached to (Savory)s company & was at Newcastle from 1806. In 1809 he was detached to (Brabyn)s company, then 4Company. On 24 4 1810 he was transferred to 73rd Regiment. {Noted a William (Rayner convict ALBEMARLE 1791-again same Fleet) is recorded as dying on 23 2 1792 & buried at St Johns CofE Parramatta] William (Rayner) does not have an entry on this Website as yet. Priscilla (Loveridge) was tried with her sister Mary & 1other for burglary Streatley Barlow Berkshire at Berkshire Assizes, sentenced to 7years & arrived in NSW as a convict on 7 10 1792 after a voyage of 5months on ROYAL ADMIRAL. She had a first relationship (1of3) with William (Davis). She had a second relationship (2of3) with Thomas (Goodman). She was accused in April 1798 of murdering her son by use of spirituous liquors. At some time she was imprisoned for 1month for keeping a riotous house & harbouring wrongdoers. She produced at least 3children in her lifetime. [Some details taken from this Website] William (Rayner) & Priscilla (Loveridge) produced 1child: 1.Prudence (Rayner) was born on 11 10 1798 & baptised on 24 3 1799 at St Phillips CofE Sydney. She died on 30 7 1816 age17 & was buried at St Phillips CofE Sydney.
