Born - Greasley, Nottingham, England to parents Richard and Sarah (Flint) Reed. Baptised 22.05.1823. Married Sarah Goodacre 04.06.1846. Had Several children including my great Grandmother Eliza Ann Reed. Convicted in 1858 of stabbing his neighbour's cattle. Served 2 years of a 10 year sentence in an English prison before being transported to Australia in November 1860.
