Charles, 1813, Life, catholic, Tenant, Mr Brown, Bathurst, Has 25 cattle. Mary Hopkins, age 50, F.S. Catherine, 1814, 7 years, catholic, ---------- Slightly more information on the census form (Familysearch): 1828 Census at Brownlea, Bathurst, household of John Brown, Brownlea was 4 miles SE of Calooda Stock yard. John Brown held 1920 acres with 200 cattle and 700 cheep. Patrick Hopkins was a tenant of 40 acres of land, of which 10 were cleared and 7 cultivated and he had 25 cattle.
