The Convict Indentures state Mary Reardon or Leary was 30 years old. She could neither read or write; religion Roman Catholic; status single and a native of County Cork. She was an house maid. Mary was convicted of stealing clothes at Cork City on 15 September 1837. She had no prior convictions. Physical Attributes: Height: 5 feet 0 3/4 inches; complexion pale and a little freckled; hair light brown and eyes light grey. Transport number 11. Prisoner number 11-38.
