The Convict Indentures state that Catherine Regan was 27 years old. She could read; religion Roman Catholic; status single and a native of County Cork. She was a thorough servant. Catherine was convicted of stealing clothes at Cork City on 1 September 1837 and sentenced to 7 years transportation. She had three prior convictions and served 1 month, 2 months and 3 months. Physical attributes: height 4 feet 11 1/4 inches; complexion ruddy; hair brown and eyes dark hazel. Transport number 3. Prisoner number 3-38. Comment on indenture entry states that 'Brother William Regan, a prisoner out four years'.
