1/12/1835 Sheffield Iris Yorkshire, England: William Lee, Henry Whitehead, and Alfred Revill, charged with robbing a man named Thomas Johnson of his watch, in a yard in Holly Street. Henry Whitehead was also on board the Lady Nugent. No ship found for William Lee. Alfred Revill/e was lised as being 24 years old on arrival in VDL - he was born in Sheffield. Gaol Report: character &c. very bad, a drunken idle profligate travelling thief, once convicted, once impd. Stated this Offence: Robbing a man of his watch at N.P. Sheffield, once for assault 1 month, once acquitted for a watch, Brother Charles at Sydney transported 6 years ago last October for 7 years for House breaking. (Brother Charles Revill arrived NSW per 'Exmouth' 1831). Alfred was 5'8½" tall, brown complexion, dark brown hair, grey eyes, 2 scars near left wrist, scar right cheek, single. 3/3/1841: TOL 30/9/1841: Permission to marry Catherine Lyons (Nautilus 1838). Listed as Revill. 13/12/1841: Married at Hobart - Alfred was 29, had TOL, a labourer, listed as Revill - Catherine was 20, a convict. 14/2/1842: Catherine born Hobart - died 30/3/1843 29/3/1843: Female Revill born Hobart (??Ellen) 12/9/1844: Charles Revill born Hobart - died 12/2/1868 whilst whaling. 1843: Free Certificate. 1847: Alfred Revill died in Sydney, aged 35. Presumably went to NSW to join his brothers Charles and Benjamin (Listed as Revell who was on board the 'Earl Grey 1838), who had been transported to NSW - Catherine did not go with him.
