George Rew was 22 years old on arrival. Native Place: Bath. George was literate, protestant, single, 5'8½" tall, ruddy and freckled complexion, brown hair, hazel eyes, scar over right eyebrow, scar on centre of forehead, woman, H O in two inverted hearts inside lower left arm, ring on middle finger of left hand. 6/3/1846 NSW Government Gazette: 4/3/1846: Absconded - George Rew, Maitland 1840, absconded from the General Hospital, Parramatta, since the 22nd ultimo. Not listed further in NSW Gov. Records.
