Family connections for Rowland (Fairweather) are: FAIRWEATHER Rowland (Fairweather) was born about 1784. He arrived in NSW as a convict on 20 12 1808 after a voyage of 5months on ADMIRAL GAMBIER. He was a servant when he married Margaret (McManus her second marriage) on 8 7 1813 at St Phillips CofE Sydney. He was Free by Servitude by 1815. He was recorded in 1828 as a gent. [This Website has Richard (Fairweather)-was sentenced to 7years probably at Old Bailey, held at Middlesex Gaol Delivery & arrived in NSW on 20 12 1808 after a voyage of 5months on ADMIRAL GAMBIER or AEOLUS.] Margaret (McManus) was born in 1790, probably in Sydney, & was taken to Norfolk Island by her parents. She left Norfolk Island on 21 9 1792 with her parents-to Sydney. She had a first relationship with John (Porteous) & produced 1child. She died on 2 7 1866 age about76 mother of 7known children.
