BURGLARY.__Richard Limbrick, aged 31, Thomas Limbrick, aged 26, John Limbrick, aged 29, were charged with breaking open the dwelling house of Thomas Daniel, at Wickwar, and stealing therefrom six sides of bacon, and Elizabeth Limbrick, aged 53, was charged with receiving the same knowing it to have been stolen. The prisoners Richard, Thomas and John, were found Guilty__Death recorded.__Elizabeth Limbrick, Not Guilty. Richard and John were both on board the 'Eden' - no ship found for Thomas. Richard Limbrick was listed as being 32 years old on arrival in VDL - he was born in Thornbury. Richard was 5'4¼" tall, fresh complexionl, brown hair, lriddish whiskers, blue eyes, 2 stars Woman E. L. inside rt arm - ring mid: finger same hand ring mid: & ring finger left hand. A Widower with 3 children. 19/5/1843: "Founders and Survivors" website list that Richard Limbrick died on this date - **This is actually the death date of his brother John Limbrick who died of fever at the Colonial Hospital, Hobart. 28/1/1845: TOL July 1848: CP (Date per newspaper). 31//7/1848: Richard Limbrick (Eden)Permission to marry Mary Ann Hamer (Free). 4/8/1848 Colonial Times, Hobart: CONVICT DEPARTMENT. Comptroller-General's Office. July 31st, 1848. In accordance with the Act of Council, 6th Victoria, No. 18. I hereby give notice, for the first time, that His Excellency the Lieutenant-Governor has been pleased to approve of the solemnization of Matrimony between the undermentioned parties :— Richard Limbrick, T.L., Eden 1, and Mary Ann Hamer, free, both residing at Carrick. 30/9/1848: Richard Limbrick aged 44, a Shoemaker, married Mary Ann Hamer, 39, a Servant, at St Andrews Church, Carrick, Tasmania. (Richard was listed as 'Lembrick'). No children listed. Dec. 1849: CP (Date per newspaper).
