HO-11-2. Indents, Early Convict Ships Indian James Richards, Tried Stafford Assizes, 29 July 1807, Life. ------------------------------------------------------------- James Richards and Benjamin Granger, for horse at Dudley, were remanded til next Assizes Shrewsbury Chronicle, 24 July 1807. At Stafford assizes, Thomas White, for stealing a sheep, and James Richards and Benjamin Grainger, for stealing a horse, were found guilty, and received sentence of death, but were reprieved before the Judges left the town.  Aris’s Birmingham Gazette, 10 Aug 1807.
