The Assizes for this County ended at Warwick, when the nine following Prisoners were capitally convicted, several of whom are very old Offenders, viz. … William Richards, for a Burglary in the House of John Plant, in Birmingham. George Whittal, Charles Hunt, John Nicholls, and John Wilmot, are left for Execution; the others are reprieved. Oxford Journal, 11 Aug 1787.
