Emily Richardson (1816 – 1854?) from County Clare (Ireland) was sentenced on 18th March, 1839 at Donegal to seven years and deportation for stealing clothes. She arrived on the Minerva 26/12/1839. Married Henry Bunce who arrived in Sydney on 16/10/1832 aboard the ship Hercules, on 9th September 1847 at Campbeltown. Mr & Mrs Henry Bunce then moved to Strawberry Hills/Brickfield Hill (Sydney) where Henry worked in the horse yards and they had four children. Henry in 1848/9, John in 1850, Emily 1851 and Thomas in 1852. Thomas died in 1853 and both Emilys also around this time, leaving Henry (Snr) with the two boys. Henry (Snr) died of tuberculosis in 1858.
