c1826: Year of birth calculated from stated aged 23, in 1849 Quarterly list in prisons and on hulks. 27-Apr-1847: James Richardson, stocking maker, of Hawick, Roxburghshire, found guilty of the crime of theft. Tried at High Court, Jedburgh. Transportation - 7 years.
