The others are left for execution, on Saturday next, viz. ... and John Ridge, aged 63, for sheep-stealing. Staffordshire Advertiser, 9 April 1808.  John Ridge, (for sheep-stealing) whose execution was fixed for today, has been respited for ten days,  Staffordshire Advertiser, 23 April 1808.
