Bath Chronicle and Weekly Gazette Somerset, England 1 Aug 1816 W. Kimber, W. Cull, and John Ridout, for killing deer in the parish of Millbrook. William Kimber was also onboard, no ship found for William Cull. John Ridout was listed as 19 years old on arrival. He was 5'5½" tall, fair ruddy complexion, brown hair, hazel eyes. Colonial Secretary Index: RIDOUT, John. Per "Lord Eldon", 1817 1822: Employed in clearing party of J B De Arrieta. Petition for mitigation of sentence (Fiche 3225; 4/1867 p.37) 18/10/1825: COF in lieu of CF 51/1180. - Listed as a groom/servant he was now 28 years old. There is a death listed on the NSW BDM for John Ridout died 1846, aged 58??
