Thomas Rigby was 27 years old on arrival in VDL. He was convicted, along with Walter Wightwick (many different spellings/Witick/Whittick/Wrightwick) also on the Caledonia and Walter's father, John (Arab 1822) for stealing wearing apparel and other items. Thomas's native place was Walsall, he was married, wife and 2 children at native place, and he was 5'3 1/2" tall, brown eyes and hair, right forefinger crippled. 1830: Transported to Maria Island. 1832: TOL 1833: Transported to Port Arthur. 1835: Public Works 14/1/1843: CP
