John Riley was convicted at Lancaster 1820 for Highway Robbery. Life sentence. Transported to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) per the 'Juliana' arriving 1820. (n.b. there are two John Riley's on this voyage) Stated his father was at his native place - Liverpool, England. Numerous records of misconduct whilst in the Colony under sentence. Last record 1827.
