Barnabas Rix, charged with stealing two pieces of Irish linen, of the value of 5£. and upwards, the property of Wm. Shrubsole and James Darke, in the parish of St. Andrew.—Guilty —Transported.  Kentish Weekly Post, 12 July 1808.  Barnabas Rix, who was sentenced to be transported for seven years, the last general sessions holden for this city, was removed from Westgate gaol Sunday night, to the hulks at Woolwich..
