Robert Richey was transported on the Hercules, departing 29th Nov 1801 and arriving 26th Jun 1802 with 57 passengers.
The "Hercules" ship was built in 1801 at South Sheilds, England. 1801 voyage from Ireland to New South Wales, Australia. Sailed via Rio de Janeiro and the Cape. A mutiny occurred just prior to their arrival at Rio - after 45 minutes it was quashed but 13 convicts had been killed. Jeremiah Pendergass was named as the ring leader and shot. 44 deaths in total on this voyage. There was then another ship, also named, "Hercules" built 1822 at Whitby, England who made 3 trips to Austraia, in 1825, 1830 & 1832.

Family connections for Robert (Robert (Richie) are: RICHEY Robert (Richey/Ritchie) was born about 1770. He was tried at Down Ireland, sentenced to Life & arrived in NSW as a convict on 26 6 1802 aftter a voyage of 7months on HERCULES. He was issued his Conditional Pardon before 1816. He married Ann (Kennedy perhaps her first marriage) on 7 4 1816 at Christ Church Castlereagh. He is recorded in 1828 with his wife as farmer at Evan. He amassed much property at Sydney & Windsor in his lifetime, which may have passed to his wife; he was buried at Devonshire St burial ground (St Phillips CofE?). [Some details taken from this Website] Ann (Kennedy) was born in 1798 at Nepean NSW. She is recorded in 1828 with her husband (Richey) at Evan. She died in 1865 age about68 at 343 Pitt St Sydney; her mother recorded as Elizabeth (Grant). Robert Richie as he was known at the time of his death came from convict to owning a considerable amount of iner Sydney property, his ownership appears on many mapes of syney streets and farmland around Windsor. His wife Ann Kennedy lists it all in he will when she died in 1865. I believe Robert had a large grave stone in Devonshire street.

Daughter of Donald Kennedy a farmer and Elizabeth Grant. Born Nepean NSW. Married 1816 at Castlereagh to Robert Ritchie, no issue.
