At the City Sessions, held before Mr. Mayor, on Monday, Adam Robertson, Elizabeth Robertson, and Barbara McKenzie, were found guilty of petit larceny, in stealing from Mr. Daniel Campbell, on the 6th November last, two pieces of printed calico. They were sentenced, the former to be confined in the House of Correction for one year, and to stand in the pillory on the Saturday preceding the expiration of his confinement; and the two latter to be transported for 7 years. Carlisle Journal, 15 Jan 1814.

From Jenn Willetts. https://www.freesettlerorfelon.com/convict_ship_northampton_1815.htm Elizabeth Robinson was considered insane and was to be sent to the Asylum at Castle Hill. She had been causing difficulties throughout the voyage - tearing her clothes and others' to pieces, wandering about the ship at night and disturbing everyone's rest. Sometimes the surgeon had found it necessary to place her in a 'straight waistcoat' and on arrival he requested that she be suitably confined.
