At Brecon Assizes, there were 20 prisoners for trial, of whom David Edwards, for cutting Morgan, with intent murder her; John Pany, for stealing fifty-three sheep, the property of different persons; Jos. Robinson, Thos. Rathboum, John Johnson, for burglary at Brecon; and John Price, for sheep stealing, received sentence of death, and the three former are expected to suffer.— Hereford Journal, 23 April 1817.
