Aged; 32 years old. Status; Widow - 1 child on board Husband; William Whitesides. Dead 9 years old 1856 - 29 May. Tried as Margaret Ogrady at Hobart Tow. Offence; Maliciously cutting and wounding Mary Grey. Sentence; to be imprisoned and kept at hard labour 3 years The Hobarton Mercury. Fri 30 May 1856. Page 3 QUARTER SESSIONS.—WEDNESDAY.Margaret O'Grady was charged with maliciously cutting and wounding Mary Gray on the 2nd May. The evidence showed that the prisoner lived, with the prosecutrix, and that she came home the worse for liquor on the night of the day in question : an altercation ensued, when the prisoner took up a table knife, and cut the prosecutiix in the arm. The prisoner was found guilty.
