List of 45 Female convicts disembarked at Hobart Town from ship Mary Anne. Mary Robinson, tried Northumberland Assizes, 23 Aug 1821, 7 years. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Mary Robinson, aged 27, charged with feloniously stealing, on the 30th April last, one blanket, value 55., and one linen shirt, value 3s., belonging to the overseers of All Saints parish. Guilty—Seven years transportation. Durham County Advertiser, 1 Sep 1821.

Her record shows many instances of Drunkenness and subsequent punishments. From Jan 9 1829, her record indicates F.S. - free by servitude, and she is then fined for any drunkenness. ** TWO MARY ROBINSONS ON THE MARY ANNE ** The other Mary Robinson was tried at York. 4/8/1821 Durham County Advertiser Durham, England: THE DURHAM COUNTY ADVERTISER NEWCASTLE POLICE.__ On Monday Last, Hannah Charlton, wife of Robert Charlton, of Dunston, in this county, keelman, was committed for trial at the next Newcastle Assizes, on a charge of stealing, last Saturday, a piece of muslin in the shop of Mr. Robert Oliver, a linen draper on the Quayside ; and on Wednesday last, Mary Robinson was committed for trial the same Assizes, charged with having stolen from All Saints' poorhouse a blanket and a shirt, the property of the parish. Conduct Record: Mostly for absenting herself and being drunk from 1822-34. C1834: A Lunatic at New Norfolk January 5th There was also the following - do not know which Mary Robinson it was, except that this Mary Robinson was listed as a Lunatic C1834. 31/10/1832: Permission to marry George Warner (Commodore Hayes 1823) - Married 1833. 22/1/1833: Mary Robinson married George Warner by banns, at Hobart.
