Mother: Anna Brothers: Michael, Patrick Sisters: Catherine, Ellen Station Gang: Point Puer (Boys Reformatory, nr Port Arthur) 15mths. 21/07/1849: 20 days gained by hard work. 20/11/1849: Ticket of Leave 19/05/1857: Free Certificate Assigned to M. Nicholls, Clarence Plains; J. Murphy, New Town & Winton Lane, New Town. ? died 1896 Mersey

Thomas was only 13yrs old when convicted, at Dublin city on 01/03/1844 of stealing - from a woman. Prior convictions for breaking a window and stealing. 7yr sentence. Transported to Van Diemens Land on the 'Cadet' 1844.
