Sent to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) per the ship 'Pestonjee Bomanjee' arriving 31 July 1852. Aged 50 yrs; trade - a dyer; Church of England; can read a little; sallow complexion; brown hair' reddish/brown whiskers; grey eyes. Native place of birth: West Leeds, England. VDL: Issued with a Passholder ticket upon arrival. 18mths Probation, less 6 mths. 1852: assigned at Broadmarsh 26 July 1853: Ticket of Leave granted. 25 July 1854: Conditional Pardon approved. 9 March 1855: Free Certificate issued.
