Worcester Assizes. Checketts, aged ?8, Elizabeth Williams, aged 20, and Thomas Rook, aged 19, charged with breaking into the house of Robert Holloway, at Tardley. in the night of January 3d. and stealing various articles. Elisabeth Williams acquitted; Checketts and Rook—Death  Recorded. The male prisoners were notorious characters, and had been convicted of felonies at Warwick.  Worcester Journal, 13 Mar 1828.   —Jos. Checketts, Elizabeth Williams, mid Thomas Rook, for breaking open the house of Robert Holloway, at Yardley, and stealing various articles.— Williams acquitted; the others, Death recorded. The Sydney Morning Herald (NSW : 1842 - 1954) Wed 14 Aug 1844 Page 3 Advertising WHEREAS the above reward was advertised in the Herald of April 27th, for the apprehension of Thomas Rooke and John M'lntyre, and.as the said parties are still at large committing robberies in the neighbourhood : This is to give Notice, that unless the said Thomas Rooke and John M'lntyre are apprehended within the present month of August, I will not pay the above reward.
