James ROSS was convicted at Aberdeen 27 April 1815. Life sentence. Transported to New South Wales per the 'Fanny' 1815. Transferred to Van Diemen's Land per the 'Emu'. 16 Apr 1816: Attempt to break into the house of Alex Seaton and stabling him in the arm with a knife. 100 lashes. 3 Jan 1827: Abscond from Road Party at Glenorchy. Assigned to Chain Gang for 14 days. 18 Sept 1827: Absent. Chain Gang 7 days.
