Lancaster Gazette Lancashire, England 2 Sep 1820: LANCASTER ASSIZES, Alex. Rostern pleaded Guilty of stealing cotton in a warehouse : — l4 years' transportation. Alexander Rostern was listed as 48 years old on arrival. Native Place: Rushten. ?? Occupation: Waggoner. Alexander was 5'6½" tall, dark sallow complexion,black to grey hair, grey eyes. 17/7/1827: TOL, Sydney Bench. 14/9/1827: COF 17/3/1828: (Date of burial). Alexander Rostern was died, aged 67, and was buried at St. Phillips, Sydney.
