Real name: Rothery - all records are under Rothera. Yorkshire Gazette Yorkshire, England 4 Mar 1820: Yorkshire Lent Assizes Edward Rothery, for having knocked down and robbed Thomas Kitson of Cleckheaton, of 64l. Native Place: Manchester. Colonial Secretary Index: RODDERY, Edward. Per "Hebe", 1820 1821 Jan 11: On list of convicts disembarked from "Hebe" & forwarded to Windsor for distribution (Reel 6007; 4/3503 p.37) 7/9/1834: COF - Described as: 34 years old, 5'4" tall, brown hair, hazel eyes, lost all the front upper teeth with the exception of three, scar over left eyebrow. 7/9/1839: Permission to marry Ann Capon (Henry Wellesley 1837) Edward was 39 and Free - Ann was 27 and on bond - at Parramatta. 1839: Married at St. John's, Parramatta. No children listed on the NSW BDM. 1845: Edward Rothery died, at Wilberforce, NSW. 25/12/1845 Sydney Morning Herald: NOTICE. IN THE ESTATE OF EDWARD ROTHERY DECEASED, LATE OF -WILBERFORCE. ALL claims against the above estate are requested to be presented on or before tbe 1st January, 1846, to Mr. John Wood, sole Executor, Macquarie-street, Windsor. After which period no claims will be admitted. JOHN WOOD, Executor. Windsor, December 28. 9828 16/6/1907: Ann Rothery died at the Windsor Hospital, Sydney.
