Mathias Rourke, alias Rorke, O’Rourke, per Canada (3) 1815, Tried Roscommon, 1814, 14 years. ---------------------------------------------------- Saturday last the assizes of Roscommon terminated. They were unusually thronged, and the press of so heavy in the Crown Court, that the above persons, on various charges, chiefly Threshing, are over for trial to the April, when, it is understood, Commission will sit, for the purpose. They are admitted to bail. ...to be transported for seven years, and Mathias Rourke, for uttering forged notes, charged also with horse stealing, are likewise to be transported for the last mentioned term.
