1825 Journey. On Saturday morning (3 Dec) arrived from London and Dublin, the ship Henry Porcher, Captain John Thompson, with 175 male prisoners, having lost one man - the rest in good health. She sailed from London the 10th of July, and Dublin the 5th of August. The guard comprises a detachment of the 47th Regiment, under the orders of Captain Donaldson. The Surgeon Superintendent is Dr. CARTER, R. N. Sydney Gazette, 5 Dec 1825.

Old Bailey: JOHN BARROW, HENRY RUFF, ROBERT RUFF, Theft > stealing from master, Theft > receiving, 13th July 1836. JOHN BARROW was indicted for stealing, on the 16th of May, 5 wine-glasses, value 2s. 6d.; 2 salt-holders, value 2s.; 1 breast-pin, value 5s.;1 glass tumbler, value 6d.; 1 jug, value 1s. 6d.; 2 knife-rests, value 2s.; 3 cruets, 1 value 1s.; 1 dagger, value 5s., the goods of Sarah Avila, his mistress; and HENRY RUFF and ROBERT RUFF were indicted for feloniously receiving the same goods, well knowing them to have been stolen. JOHN BARROW— GUILTY . Aged 13. HENRY RUFF— GUILTY . Aged 18. Transported for Fourteen Years. ROBERT RUFF— NOT GUILTY. 1839: Was a constable. 4/8/1846: CP 29/10/1846: Passenger per 'Swan' Goerge Town to Port Phillip. 2/11/1847: Geelong Advertiser: EXTENSIVE ROBBERY AT GEELONG.-On Saturday, two parties of the name of Henry Ruff and Ellen Young, were placed in the dock of the Melbourne Police Office, charged with felony – Remanded. Sent for trial to be held on the 15/10/1847. 19/10/1847: Found guilty and sentenced to 2 years imprisonment. 1855: Was in Sydney. Sydney Morning Herald: HENRY RUFF, Railway Dining Rooms.
