Previous offence. 7yr transportation sentence. Transported to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) on the ship 'Hope' arriving 17 Aug 1842. Ship Surgeon's Report: Quiet and orderly. A widow, 8 children. Temperance Medal. Assignment in Colony of Van Diemen's Land. Ticket of Leave granted 11 Mar 1845. Conditional Pardon 23 Nov 1847. Free Certificate 6 Nov 1848.
