Permission to Marry. Richard Kearns, convict per ship Pilot, and Catherine Ryan, per Elizabeth. Date of permission, Sydney, 5 April 1819. Revd William Cowper. Approved by Governor. -------------------------------------------------- Date: 1825 We hereby certify that Catherine Ryan, who came by the ship Elizabeth which arrived in this Colony in the year 1818 has not been convicted of any Crime or Misdemeanour in this Colony , but is to our certain belief an honest, sober and industrious character, having served faithfully Mr James Flinn, residing in the district of Sydney from November 1818 to June 1819, and Richard Kearns, residing in the district of Castle Hill from June 1819 to August 1825.
