The following were Convicted and sentenced: … Catherine Ryan, stealing a piece of muslin from the shop of Mr. Ryan, transported seven years. … Clonmel Herald, 15 Aug 1832. This day the City Sheriffs received an order from Dublin Castle, transmit the following female convicts to Cork, for transportation : —Margaret Hennessy, Margaret Norris, Bridget Duggan, Margaret Doyle, Mary Connelly, Catherine Ryan, Bridget Morgan, Margaret Sullivan, Bridget Fitzgerald, Ellen Connors, Anne Kelly, Mary Mahony, Ellen Hurley, Mary Greatrix, Judith Shaughnessy, Mary Griffin, Margaret Connors, Mary Corbett, Honora Hennessy and Connors.
