Ireland (parents shown as Cornelius/Catherine) & became a grocer shop man. He is sometimes referred to as Edmund. He was tried as an Irish Rebel-posting a threatening notice on Thomas (P) at Upper Church-in Tipperary in 1832, sentenced to 7years & arrived in NSW as a convict on (6 9) 1832 after a voyage of 4months on ELIZA; he was Catholic. He married Hannah (Warren) in 1850 at Bathurst. It sems he provided assistance for his brother Thomas to travel to Australia in 1854. He was issued his Certificate of Freedom no.45/1436 on 13 11 1845. He continued his bad behaviour, was convicted many times & spent time in Bathurst Gaol. He married secondly Eliza Ann (Watt/s her second marriage) at Bathurst & produced 6children. He died on 27 2 1877 age about61 scrotal gangrene at Triangle Creek father of 7children & was buried in the middle of a paddock at Arkell Long Swamp. ..Eliza Ann (Watt) daughter of Samuel (Watt) & Anne (???) was born about 1826 at Belfast Antrim county Ireland.
