2 John Ryans' on this voyage: this one stayed in NSW - the other to VDL and died 3/7/1825, Drowned. John Ryan was listed as 40 years old on arrival - although listed as 50 years old on the list of Convicts received on board the Bencoolen at Cove of Cork in Ireland, 13th and 14th April 1819. John was transported for 'Burglary and Robbery'. His native place was Dublin and his occupation was a 'Soldier/bricklayer'. Colonial Secretary Papers: RYAN, John.
