Convicted at the General Quarter Sessions held on 31 March 1788 at the Guildhall, Somerset - John Ryan for stealing a box of tinplates. to be transported for 7 years Embarked per Neptune, arriving in NSW 28 Jun 1790 Granted 30 acres at Mulgrave Place, on the banks of the Nepean river - 1 Jan 1797 (not to be confused with first fleeter John Ryan who was granted 30 acres at Mulgrave Place in Mar 1795) Another grant of 50 acres was made to John Ryan by Gov King on 15 Sep 1802, which is thought to be this Ryan, judging by his total acreage in the 1800's By the 1806 General muster Ryan was holding 75 acres at Hawkesbury by grant and purchase. He was married but no children recorded. Notices of sale of land and stock appear in the Sydney Gazette between 1805 and 1812, which are thought to be this John Ryan selling off his interests in the colony In Mar 1815 noticed of intention to leave the Colony sailing on the Brig endeavor, through to Apr when it departed
