On Monday last, a man was murdered in an aflray near Ballingarry, by a blow of a stone, returning from the fair, having been knocked down and jumped upon. Limerick Chronicle, 6 June 1827. by Rev. Josius Crampton, William Counnell, supposed to be Patrick Ryan, charged with the murder (by inquisition on oath before Mr. Cox, Coroner,) of Patrick Browne, at the fair of Ballingarry, in this County Limerick Chronicle, 28 July 1827. To be transported for Life Patrick Ryan, for the manslanghter of Patrick Brown, at the Dounes, ? June last. Limerick Chronicle, 15 Aug 1827.
