On Tuesday last, Richard Ryder (a returned convict) was committed to Winchester gaol, by the county magistrates, charged with being concerned in the robbery  at Mr. Cantle's, at West End, as noticed in our paper of the 31st ult. Hampshire Advertiser, 14 June 1834. —Richard Ryder, alias Nott, for breaking and entering the house of Stephen Cantle, and stealing therefrom a quantity of cloth, his property. Salisbury Journal, 23 June 1834. The following convicts, capitally convicted the last assizes, have been removed on board the Leviathan Hulk, at Portsmouth: — … Richard Ryder, ...to be transported for life; ...
